COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT: GEORGE ROBERTS (NORTH WEST) LIMITED FORM EMPLOYEE OWNERSHIP TRUST

We are pleased to announce that as of 26/02/2024, George Roberts (North West) Ltd have formed an ‘Employee Ownership Trust‘ (EOT)

The EOT promotes employee engagement and commitment with long-term benefits from the Companies continuing success.

We have considered various options for a succession plan for the business, including a Third- party sale, but after much consideration, we feel the EOT will be in the best interests of our Employees and Customers to ensure:

• Continuity of business strategy as an independent supplier, maintaining customer requirements and exceptional service standards.
• Safeguarding the employment and future of our employees, and rewarding them with the additional benefits the EOT brings.

Chairman, Mr. George Roberts, states “Since the business was founded in 1992 we have followed the strategy of keeping comprehensive stocks of high quality products which are sold and hired to clients both in the UK and Internationally via personal relationships which are long lasting and stand the test of time. I am extremely proud of the Companies achievements over the last 32 years and feel strongly that the EOT, which is unique in the industry we are part of, will allow continued growth and the opportunity for the loyal team within the business to share in its success in the years to come”.
