Scaff-Step
The Scaffolders Scaff-Step has been designed to enable the fixing of the advance guard rail on the proceeding lift in line with recommended industry best practises. The step utilises the ledger above to provide the scaffolder with fall protection whilst installing the next lift. The scaffolder is protected by a guardrail which is already part of the scaffold structure, eliminating the need for additional parts to be fixed.
Application
- The Scaff-Step can be used in any position along the ledger not just at a standard.
- It provides protection for the scaffolder working with tube and fitting as well as all systems using tubular ledgers.
- Often used in pairs, with two operatives working together.
