Why is being NASC-approved is a priority to us
Every single eligible product we provide has been approved by NASC.
There is an increasing demand for treated flame-retardant boards to be used on all scaffolding works within certain sectors. Good examples are the North Sea Oil industry, the London Underground, the Power industry, the UK Timber Frame and are becoming widely recognised and specified by leading insurance companies.
Our Fire-Retardant scaffold boards have an identical physical specification and sizing as our BS2482 timber boards except the timber has been treated to fire-retardant standard BS EN 13501-1 Euro class B and full certification can be provided upon request.
Since scaffold boards are always subject to surface wear, we ensure that only flame retardants applied using high-pressure impregnation systems are used from treaters who meet the NASC TG10 recommendations in terms of both compliance and quality assurance. This ensures the treatment process has no detrimental effects on the structural strength of the scaffold board, it has low toxicity so as not to be hazardous in use and is non-corrosive to all metals.
All our BS2482 scaffold boards are responsibly sourced through sustainable PEFC registered companies within the UK & Europe.
Every single eligible product we provide has been approved by NASC.
Committed to Total Reliability of Supply, we are the leading independent scaffolding supplier in the UK and exporting worldwide.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, George Roberts would like to wish all our clients and staff a very Happy Christmas and a healthy, successful New Year.
